HUMANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF ANDRAGOGY
Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of humanization of future teachers’ professional training. The irreversibility of Ukraine's movement towards membership in the European Union is emphasized, it determines the development of society on the basis of European values. Humanism is defined as one of the principles of education development in Ukraine and is considered to be one of the main concepts. Attention is focused on the fact that one of the ways to humanize social life is the humanization of the educational system. Problems that actualize the importance of humanization of future teachers’ professional training are highlighted. The principles of adult education are presented, due to the fact that adults should become leaders in order to humanize future teachers’ professional training in the educational process of higher education institutions. It was revealed that the humanization of future teachers’ professional training at the personal level will be manifested in the humanistic orientation of the teacher's professional activity. The connection between moral needs, which are determined by the humanistic orientation of the individual, and the satisfaction of activities for the benefit of other people has been investigated. The dependence of the formation of one’s humanistic orientation on the ability to empathy, reflection, and the presence of personal and social responsibility has been established. A connection has been established between the set of ideals, principles, and beliefs, knowledge of the individual, which are the basis of one’s worldview. The importance of lecturers’ appropriate training for the formation of future teachers’ humanistic orientation is shown. The potential of adult education methods in the formation of the humanistic orientation of future teachers has been revealed.
