APC Policy
Scientific Works «Adult Education: Theory, Experience, Prospects» follows the Diamond Open Access model.
The journal does not charge authors any fees for:
- manuscript submission;
- initial editorial screening;
- peer review;
- editorial processing;
- preparation of the article for publication;
- publication of the article;
- online open access to the full text;
- storage and archiving of published materials.
The journal does not charge an article processing charge (APC) and does not require any mandatory payment related to the review, peer review, or publication of a manuscript.
All articles are published in free open access immediately after the issue is released. Readers also do not pay for access, reading, downloading, or use of the published materials in line with the journal’s licensing policy.
The costs related to the preparation, publication, technical support, and maintenance of the journal are covered by the founder, institutional support, partner support, grant funding, or other lawful sources.
Editorial decisions on manuscripts are made only on the basis of:
- the academic quality of the manuscript;
- its relevance to the journal’s scope and aims;
- the results of editorial review and peer review;
- compliance with publication ethics.
Financial matters do not influence the decision to accept or reject a manuscript, because the journal does not require mandatory payment for publication.
If the journal or its partners can offer the author additional optional services such as language editing, translation, or technical support with formatting, such services:
- are not part of the editorial process;
- are not a condition for publication;
- are provided only at the author’s request;
- do not influence the editorial decision.
The journal recommends clearly separating its main Diamond Open Access policy from any additional optional support services.
