Licensing Policy
All articles published in Scientific Works «Adult Education: Theory, Experience, Prospects» are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.
Information about the licence used is clearly stated in each published article of the journal. The licence notice is provided in the article metadata and/or in the full text of the article, so that authors, readers, libraries, and other users clearly understand the conditions for the use, distribution, and reuse of the published material.
The CC BY 4.0 licence allows any person or institution to:
- copy, share, distribute, store, reproduce, and publicly use the material;
- create derivative works, adaptations, translations, summaries, and other revised versions of the material;
- use the material for both non-commercial and commercial purposes.
Such use is allowed only if the following conditions are met:
- the name of the author(s) is properly given;
- the journal is clearly named as the place of first publication;
- a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence is provided;
- any changes are clearly indicated if the material has been adapted, shortened, translated, or otherwise changed.
By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the author confirms that they have the right to give the journal permission to publish the material under these licence terms and that the submitted work does not infringe the rights of third parties.
If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author gives the journal a non-exclusive right to:
- carry out academic, language, and technical editing of the material;
- publish the article on the official journal website;
- place, index, store, and distribute the article, its metadata, abstracts, bibliographic descriptions, and, where needed, agreed language versions in databases, repositories, library systems, search services, and other information resources.
The journal’s licensing terms do not limit the authors’ further use of their own work in line with this Copyright Policy and the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence.
