FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF ANDRAGOGUES TRAINING: ANALYSIS OF DISSERTATIONS RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The review article analyzes dissertations research in the field of pedagogical sciences in Ukraine, which highlight foreign experience in andragogues training. The urgency of the raised problem has been substantiated. There were carried out the classification, systematization of the examined dissertations on the basis of the criteria offered by the author (chronological, geographical, subject-thematic, professional-objective, scientific-informational (specialty, scientific degree, belonging of the author to a scientific school, etc.)). It is established that the dissertations of Ukrainian scientists submit the theoretical foundations of professional training of the modern andragogy specialists in separate European countries and the United States, Canada and the content, organizational, procedural aspects of the andragogues training. Emphasis is placed on the scientific novelty and practical significance of dissertation research conducted by Ukrainian scientists. There were singled out the urgent tasks of pedagogical science and practice in the conditions of rapid growth of demand and supply in the national market of educational services in the adult education field, among which are: development and approval of the professional standard by «Andragogue» profession, the state standard of higher education in «Andragogue» specialty; development and implementation of educational programs for the andragogues training in higher education institutions, professional development programs for pedagogical workers of formal and non-formal adult education, who should carry out professional activities in the conditions of society and economy structural transformations, in the situation of instability and uncertainty. There was emphasized on the expediency of improving the content of pedagogical education, based on the aim direction (preparation for work with different adult categories), position responsibilities of andragogue-specialists, previously obtained education (for postgraduate education institutions), experience of activity, individual cultural and educational needs, etc.
