STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL FEATURES OF PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSTICS AND PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY ACTIVITIES OF A SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Abstract
The review article discusses the features of the professional diagnostic and professional advisory activities of a school psychologist. The psychological aspects of the professional self-determination of personality as the leading goal of the professional diagnostic and professional advisory work of a psychologist with high school students are presented. The subject, purpose, tasks of professional diagnostics and professional consultation of applicants for general secondary education are considered.
It was found that the psychologist's professionally diagnostic and professionally advisory work with students of general secondary education covers the problem of professional self-determination, implements information, psychodiagnostic, prognostic and corrective functions, provides for consistent systematized work in the following stages such as: preliminary conversation, psychological diagnostics of abilities, correction the student's ideas about himself and the world of professions, determination of professional choice, creation of a professional plan, correction of professional plans.
It is concluded that professional diagnostics and professional consultation in its unity and integrity is a complex scientific and practical system of work, the mastering of which allows a psychologist to conduct a professional diagnostic examination of personality in educational institutions, to carry out group and individual professional consultations for senior students, graduates and applicants. on the choice of profession and professional self-determination.
