INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR UKRAINIAN SCIENTISTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR
Abstract
The review article emphasizes the importance of Ukrainian science, the activities of Ukrainian scientists for the development of the economy, the defense capability of our state in the context of russia's war against Ukraine. Some aspects of the international scientific community's support of Ukrainian researchers and scientists in the context of the russian-Ukrainian war are highlighted. Attention is focused on the programs and projects of support and assistance of the international scientific community to Ukrainian researchers, organized by international organizations, individuals who offer financial assistance, accommodation, training and employment. The activities of individual support networks for Ukrainian scientists and researchers from around the world are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the support of Ukrainian researchers by European countries. The author reviews websites and web pages for remote access abroad, where a list of important electronic resources with software tools, information and ideas to support displaced researchers from Ukraine is collected. Separate online events in support of education and science, Ukrainian scientists, held in Ukraine with the participation of foreign partners on the issues of expanding research cooperation; preserving existing cooperation; restoring damaged educational and research systems and infrastructure; further effective support of Ukraine and Ukrainian education and science with opportunities to continue their participation in high-quality research projects and international research cooperation; restructuring of scientific and academic systems are analyzed.
