ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF NATIVE LANGUAGE TEACHER IN SWEDEN

Abstract

The peculiarities of the organizational and pedagogical conditions of native language teacher training in Sweden are substantiated in the article. The subject of teacher training program was implemented and analyzed at Uppsala University. It was found that learning native language by the teacher involves studying the Swedish language for four semesters, forming and developing a perfect knowledge of style, text, speech, grammar, literary analysis and reading for children and young people. The content of the training of a native language teacher also includes studying of the history of literature, linguistic sociology, languages of neighboring countries, the history of languages, etc. The organizational features of the pedagogical training of the future native language teacher are characterized. It was found that in order to obtain the degree of a subject teacher, a student must demonstrate such knowledge and abilities that are necessary for independent work as a subject teacher in the relevant field (knowledge in the field of general and subject didactics, including the methodology of scientific theory, knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the relationship between theoretical and practical experience and professional practice; knowledge and understanding of social relations, conflict management and leadership, the organization of the school system, relevant governing documents, the theory of educational programs and various pedagogical and didactic points of view, the history of the school system, the control and evaluation system). It was concluded that professional training of native language teachers in Sweden is characterized by an integrated approach to theoretical and practical training. The basis of a teacher's professional knowledge is not only knowledge of 3 concepts, technologies and mastery of pedagogical skills, but also the ability to develop and evaluate one's own professional activity as well.
