DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL-LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY OF FUTURE OFFICER IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING LANGUAGE DISCIPLINES: AXIOLOGICAL ASPECT
Abstract
Abstract. The review article analyzes the problem of training a future officer as a culturally competent person. The expediency of using the axiological approach in pedagogy is substantiated. The classification of values that unite social outlook and educational activities is presented. The authors interpret the concepts of «language» and «culture» in the spiritual and value context, the concepts of «culture of language», «culture of speech» and «culturally competent personality». It is proved that the training of competent and qualified specialists who would be fluent in the state language in everyday and professional life is one of the priority tasks of a military higher education institution. The necessity of mastering language disciplines on an axiological basis is emphasized, which will contribute to the development of communication skills of applicants for higher military education. The problem of training of future officers in the cultural and linguistic context is analyzed, taking into account the need to ensure the correctness, content, logic, consistency, richness of speech, accuracy, expressiveness, appropriateness and expediency of speech in communication. The authors analyze various types of tasks and exercises for the development and activation of mental activity, the development of the ability to express one's thoughts accurately, logically and consistently. The author emphasizes the need to develop officers' ability to choose the right words that best match the content of the text being reproduced, to choose the right arguments, visual and various language tools, etc. It is emphasized that high culture of speech of a militaryman will contribute to his professional self-realization in the chosen field as a highly educated person, achievement of success in work, as well as professional development and self-development, satisfaction of communication needs, and expansion of the circle of communication in the profession.
