THE PROBLEM OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF CHEMISTRY MASTERS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
Abstract
Abstract. The article deals with the formation of professional competencies of masters of chemistry in higher education in Ukraine in the context of the transformation of the educational process. The current realities of the situation in Ukraine, new economic challenges, and social requirements for domestic educational practice are aimed at rethinking the past and strengthening the competence approach in the process of training future specialists. The purpose of the article is to analyze and determine the conditions of the process of forming professional competencies of masters of chemistry in higher education in Ukraine in the context of the transformation of the educational process. The principles of implementing a competency-based approach in chemical higher education are outlined. The educational and scientific program of the field of knowledge 10 Natural Sciences, specialty 102 «Chemistry» of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the training of future chemists of the second (master's) level of higher education is analyzed. The requirements for the organization of the learning process in distance and blended learning formats have been clarified. The pedagogical value of the study is to determine the conditions for organizing the process of forming professional competencies of masters of chemistry in higher education in Ukraine in the context of the transformation of the educational process: formation of a value-personal attitude of a future chemistry specialist to mastering professional competencies, to the field of activity, as well as understanding of conscious responsibility for their actions; taking into account certain principles in the implementation of a competency-based approach in chemical higher education (reflection of full and relevant competencies).
