PEDAGOGICAL CREATIVITY IN THE SYSTEM OF PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE FUTURE TEACHER
Abstract
The review article explores the essence of pedagogical creativity as a key factor in the personal and professional development of future teachers. The authors emphasize that in the context of the transformation of the educational environment and the implementation of the New Ukrainian School concept, creativity is no longer just a desirable quality but an essential condition for effective pedagogical activity. Pedagogical creativity is seen as an integrative phenomenon that encompasses intellectual, emotional, motivational, and activity components, shaping the teacher's ability to solve educational tasks in original ways while considering students’ individual needs and the specifics of the educational environment. The article highlights the interrelation between creativity and the formation of professional self-awareness, the development of reflective abilities, emotional intelligence, intuition, and unconventional thinking. The main pedagogical conditions fostering students’ creative potential are outlined, including problem-based learning, project activities, case methods, art pedagogy, and interactive technologies. Special attention is given to the role of the teacher as a facilitator, motivator, and mentor who creates a space for students’ creative self-expression and supports their pedagogical initiatives. The authors conclude that pedagogical creativity is a two-way process ensuring the harmonious integration of personal growth and professional improvement of future teachers. Recommendations for pedagogical institutions are proposed, focusing on the purposeful development of students’ creative potential: creating conditions for creativity, supporting student initiatives, and fostering a culture of pedagogical reflection, all of which are crucial for preparing teachers capable of acting as agents of change in modern education.
