Abstract

The article substantiates the author’s conceptual model for developing the creative potential of future nurses in the context of continuing education, which is regarded as a key component of the modern educational system and an important factor in professional formation. The relevance of fostering creative abilities among healthcare professionals is emphasized in light of dynamic social changes, digitalization, and the need for constant adaptation to new working and living conditions. Scientific and pedagogical sources, as well as legislative and regulatory documents providing continuous professional development of medical personnel, are analyzed. It is determined that continuing education ensures not only the renewal of knowledge and skills but also promotes the development of critical thinking, self-realization, and social integration. The proposed model of creative potential development in future nurses is conceptualized as an open dynamic system comprising targeted blocks: goal-motivational (formation of a positive attitude toward creativity and professional activity), organizational-pedagogical (implementation of pedagogical conditions and stages of creative potential development), content-cognitive (mastery of knowledge and methods of creative thinking), activity-processual (application of creative skills in practical tasks), and reflective-evaluative (awareness of personal achievements and readiness for self-development). The necessity of integrating international standards into the training system of mid-level medical personnel is substantiated. It is argued that the formed creative potential of future nurses emerges as an integrative quality that ensures the ability to generate new ideas, find creative solutions, and adapt to professional challenges. At the same time, it opens opportunities for self-realization within formal, non-formal, and informal education, grounded in readiness for lifelong development.
