DIGITALIZATION AND INNOVATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF LIFELONG CHOREOGRAPHER TRAINING
Abstract
In the review article examines the digitalization of choreographer training within the framework of lifelong education and the andragogical principles of adult learning. The rapid development of digital technologies fundamentally changes the requirements for choreographers’ professional competence, making continuous professional updating necessary throughout the entire creative and pedagogical career. The theoretical and methodological foundation of the study incorporates the lifelong learning concept and the principles of self-directed adult learning, examined in conjunction with the demands of digital transformation in arts education. The digitalization of choreographic education in Ukraine has a fragmentary but dynamically growing character and requires a systematic approach to modernizing curricula and professional development of choreography teachers. The author substantiates that formal and non-formal choreographic education requires systematic implementation of innovative educational technologies – from virtual learning environments and motion capture technologies to artificial intelligence systems and blended learning. Three key aspects are highlighted: innovative educational technologies in the professional development of choreographers; continuous choreographic education in the context of digital transformation; modern technologies as a factor in the development of choreographic education throughout the creative and pedagogical path. The particular role of non-formal and informal learning in the system of professional development for choreography educators is emphasised. It has been established that the use of VR/AR technologies, motion analysis systems, and intelligent adaptive platforms contributes to the formation of new standards of choreographic mastery and expands access to quality education regardless of place, time, and level of prior training. Practical recommendations are proposed for implementing a blended learning model as a key strategy for the development of adult choreographic education in the era of digital transformations.
