THE ROLE OF THE ACADEMICIAN IVAN ZIAZIUN IN THE PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article analyzes the influence of the scientific ideas of Ivan Andriiovych Ziaziun on the formation and development of pedagogy in independent Ukraine on the basis of the analysis of his pedagogical works.

The versatility and heterogeneity of the researcher's interests have been determined, since his writings have raised topical and complex philosophical, psychological and pedagogical problems. Consistency of the academician's ideas with the ideas of the competence approach, which is being implemented in all educational establishments and foresees shifting of accents from the accumulation of a certain knowledge to mastery their application in various educational and life situations is established. It is determined that the foundations of the teacher's pedagogical activity are, according to I. A. Ziaziun, the following aspects: targeted aspect, which focuses on the whole personality of the student as self-worth; semantic aspect, caused by the emergence of authorized variants of training courses; procedural aspect, which allows correlation of methodology and content according to personal understanding and style; professional and personal aspect, which updates the original and unique skills and personal qualities of the teacher characterizing his acting skills and reflection in accordance with his own exclusive pedagogical action.

In this context, the role of the artistic and emotional spheres, improvisation, as well as artistic and pedagogical creativity of the teacher's personality increases.

The analysis of the content of scientific studies of Ivan Ziaziun convinces that the conceptual foundations of pedagogical excellence are based on the principles of ethnopedagogy, cultural studies, history, and didactics. As a teacher and the rector of the Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, and the Minister of Education of Ukraine, the educator scientifically substantiated and practically tested the basic provisions and effective ways of forming pedagogical skills in future teachers. He proposed to introduce such educational discipline as «Pedagogical Mastery» into the educational process of pedagogical institutions of higher education, which made it possible to identify a new direction in the development of pedagogical science – the formation of pedagogical skills of future teachers.
