CERTAIN ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY

Abstract

On the basis of the analysis of the organization of primary education in the Federal Republic of Germany, the peculiarities of the vocational training of future primary school teachers were revealed. It has been found that the training of future teachers in Germany, regardless of the federal state, is of two stages and is of theoretical and practical nature: study in a higher education establishment and practice / internship The first stage covers the preparation for a section of a school program. The training course is concise and aimed at the study of general subjects, theoretical courses in the specialty and pedagogical disciplines. The structure of schools in various federal states is heterogeneous, so the training programs take into account the preparation of future teachers for more than one type of school. The second stage is aimed at conducting pedagogical practice at schools in the process of direct teaching. The purpose of that is to prepare a future teacher for practical work at school on the basis of well-learned theory.

The result of the vocational training of future primary school teachers in Germany is a human-centered orientation, scientific approach to education; regional and local component in the content of education. The main tasks of future primary school teachers are aimed at: getting an academic education, ability to react quickly and effectively to progressive and creative things, the ability to transfer a child from the field of play to learning; involvement of a child to educational activities; promoting his/her natural growth through physical, intellectual and spiritual development; equipping his/her with the necessary knowledge and skills; development of critical thinking and creative skills; formation of holistic worldview and modern scientific outlook.
