RETROSPECTIVE OF TRAINING FOR FUTURE EDUCATORS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Ukraine's entry into the European educational space presupposes a gradual transition to the international level of higher education and, above all, pedagogical education, which we consider a component of the process of updating its content and modernization. The reform of higher pedagogical education against the background of modernization of all spheres of society is taking place not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. Its reference point was the quality of education that was recognized by the world community for the 21st century as an unconditional and defining goal and a priority indicator of the development of every country, since it is education that provides and determines the criteria for assessing the quality of life of the citizens and humanity in general.

A retrospective analysis of the training for future educators of preschool education institutions testifies to the gradual evolutionary development of the professional training for preschool workers. The first stage (middle of the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries) is defined as the period of development of professional training of specialists in preschool education in Ukraine. The second stage (1917 – early 1930s) is presented in the study as a period of reorganization of preschool personnel training in accordance with changes in the country's social and political life and the tasks of socialist construction. The third stage (1930s – 1941) was the period of initiation of the modern foundations of the system of training of preschool education specialists, the content and methods of their training. The fourth stage (early 70s – late 80s of the 20th century) was characterized by research on the problem of professional training of the future teacher and, in particular, the teacher of preschool institutions. The sixth stage (90s of the 20th century – until now) qualifies as a stage of reorganization of preschool education (preschool education) as a mandatory and integral link in the general structure of the state's educational sector, and therefore there was a rethinking of the content of professional training of teachers for preschool educational institutions in accordance with the realities of the time and, above all, the integration of higher education institutions of Ukraine into the European educational space.
