THE FORMATION OF ADULTS’ CIVIL COMPETENCE: CURRENT CHALANGE
Abstract
The author analyzes the components of the civil competence of adults in modern society. The first component is the civil knowledge, which formed on basis ideas about the forms and methods of operation of the citizen in the political, economic, social and cultural environment of a democratic state. The second component has a civic skills, which include participation in the socio-political life of the society and the practical application of knowledge and skills formed. The third component is the civic values, relationships, attitudes, among which are the universal, democratic and national.
