FORMS AND METHODS OF CORPORATE TRAINING IN THE CONTEXT OF ADULT LEARNING

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of corporate training which is conducted by enterprises for training, retraining and professional development of employees. It is a response to the challenges facing modern education in the transition to a market economy. The basic forms and methods of corporate training are identified; their strengths and weaknesses are revealed. It has been found that the choice of forms and methods of corporate training is determined by the resources of the organization, its investment, administrative and managerial capabilities, as also the purpose of the class, the characteristics of the students and the teacher’s qualifications. It has been concluded that corporate education, as part of the adult education, is based on the principles of andragogy arising from the characteristics of the adult learner and it mainly uses active learning methods.
